We will be opening our doors on Sunday 5th July

We are really looking forward to welcoming you back and we have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure that you and our team are as safe as possible in our pub.

As part of our social distancing measures we have reduced the number of tables available to ensure safe spacing so please book ahead of visiting to guarantee space and time availability.

In order that we can meet the current Government guidelines regarding safe distancing for now the maximum number of guests per table booking is six people.

Customers who are accompanied by children are responsible for supervising them at all times and should follow social distancing guidelines. For the safety and well being of the children, customers and team members we ask that children remain at the table during your visit. Please be aware that due to the requirements of social distancing we do not have any play areas at this time.

Social distancing measures will be displayed from the moment you arrive at the entrance to help all our customers and team members use them including floor markings and additional signage information.

Our customer toilets have been planned for single entry with additional cleaning.

You will find hand sanitisers throughout the pub from arrival to departure so please join our team in maintaining personal hand hygiene to protect everyone.

In accordance with the latest Government guidelines the team have been trained for safe working including social distancing measures and hand hygiene. Temperature checks at the start of every shift form part of our commitment to ensuring both our customers and team are kept as safe as possible.

A full risk assessment has also been completed to protect our customers, our team and our suppliers.

There will be some changes to our normal style of service for a while so please bear with us.

To reduce contact we will be using disposable menus and delivering food and drink to your table in the safest possible way.

We have decided to move away from the self service Carvery to a family style service instead. This means that you can still enjoy the same great meat selection with all the trimmings as before and then help yourselves to as much or as little vegetables and gravy at your own table. Alternatively other dishes will still be available from our reduced main menu.

By following the social distancing measures and hygiene practices in place we aim to deliver a relaxed comfortable environment where everyone can enjoy their time with us here at the Bunbury Arms Great Barton
